55th Merdeka Joy

We were surprised when our class was chosen for the one month training for our Malysia's 55th National day. It was a wonderful and unforgetable month for us.The most memorable and special Merdeka day in my entire life. Together with 1600 friends who came from different schools from KL and Selangor, we performed the best show in Merdeka Independent Square,KL. We were all so happy because we get to skip classes, but some of the " nerds" in class was kind of against it at first but -hey!! wake up it is a once in a life time chance. Even our teachers was upset and said that if we were going to decide to miss our class we better be ready to stay at school for extra classes to cover up all the topics we left out.

Basically it was up to us to choose to go or not. Unfortunately one teacher said it is compulsory and we will be awarded 20 marks for co-curriculum. So, why say no. We all with full of happiness said YES!!. we are ready to make this merdeka a best one. Just cooldn't wait for it. We all got ready and our practise for the first day started at la salle boys school...since we were from all girls school, we were kind of excited because we get to see boys haha..so funny ( pity us we were "innocent" girls that got to chance to see boys..haha.

We practiced to sing many of our national songs..and that was the first we knew there were many national songs-not the old ones but alot of new ones. The songs were all so nice that can give us a chill in the spine. We were also given numbers and must stand according the number and positions given. We were also given props like flags, pom-pom, riben, big hands..and much more.. We all practiced and practiced til we are perfect. Even teacgers that came from various schools worked really hard to make us perfect.

They changed many steps which at times made us give up but the teachers always continued to give us support. The students there too were all so friendly..we made many friends. We all joked together, laughed together, and we just had so much of fun despite all the tiredness.

We will all arrive at school early in the morning. Then we will get onto a bus and go to our practice spots. on our way we will joke and make fun of each other. Nothing could beat the good momments my classmates and i had. We can all never forget that moment like it happened yesterday.

The were some teachers who were fierce and some were funny. Those fierce once will really scold us terribly. Even if we make a little small mistake, they will really embarrass us. It is not easy to practice.. we had to sing..resing..and resing for about 30-35 times for one song. Our hardwork was the one that paid off for a good 55th Merdeka two years back.
I really don't know how to explain the type of excitements i had that time...all i can show are photos. From this photos i hope you will understand the joy we all had. HAD A SUPER, AWESOME, MARVELOUS, SPLENDID MERDEKA!!!!!!Love you all my dear friends. muaxxxxx,,,,

No matter how much of sunblock we all applied...final product..* SUN BURN * all became blackies...

We were just crazy..acting again like we never seen a english guy..NEVER MISSED THAT CHANCE TOoooo...haha..took a shot with one english guy

Our beloved teacher

I really don't know how to start. She was different from any other teachers. My class was the only class she taught geography since form one till three and became our English teacher for form four and five. Her name is PN. Kalaichelvi Panchalingam. Everyone calls her PN. Kalai for short but only we will call her full name. She taught geography in a fun way. Eventhough we were in class but literally she made us travel around the world. We just loved her class. She was a mother, teacher and a friend to us.

She will give us the motivation we needed when we are stressed and she will also guide us all the way through. She never complained about our class that we are noisy or too funny because she was apart of us. She could understand our jokes and we laughed together. In the teachers room all teachers know our class because she loves to talk about us. She was really good in literature. She made us do two thousand questions for geography-it may be unbelievable but trust me we did that because we love her teaching and the subject too. She allows us to type our works.. It is really hard to tell what she did for us..she did many great things for us.We had great times..with her. If anyone says bad things about her we don't trust because we know her man-stop bullshitting!! Unfortunately, we just could not understand the fact why did she apply for early retirement. She said she had plans to migrate but we always told her we will not let her go..but when we were in the mid of form five, It happened! She got what she wanted. She said she would rather leave us before we all leave her.
Since our class was her favorite class, we were told to perform for her farewell. We could not do anything coz we were just so sad. Every time we practiced for the song we were going to perform, either one or two of us will begin crying. Especially me..suddenly the times she stood by my side to give me warmth and support. She never let us down nor did we. She was the only teacher who knew the "real"us and knew we could do it! We proved her right.. We got the batch with the highest number of straight A scorer. Even on that day she left us, she  ride too but she just said she did not-come on man..we saw!! I remember that day we sang soledad, you raise me up..which really made us and all her other students cry and I was the worst I started crying too much. I just can't control anymore. I just stopped singing and cried throughout.

Then, one by one started crying..looks like no one can hold their tears back anymore. Our love for her is just beyond any ordinary love. We love you teacher!!!Those last hugs we gave her-just cannot forget her.

Dr.Tan-the joker we made at high school

Funny way he sits
What is a life without friends? Those friends i had during my high school life are the best friends that i have and i can't replace them. We really cherished every moment we had together. We did not care about the race and skin colour. What was important to us was the jokes we made and all of us laughed.

Surprisingly the 27 of us were in the same class for five years. We did not have cliques. I remember we even used to make fun of the "funny" teachers. There was once a male teacher named Dr.Tan. He was the only teacher in my school with Phd and he is always proud of that. He is very soft and girlish and he teaches us civics. Come on it is just Civics right-what a big deal about that?...but for him that is so important. We will make fun in class by keeping silent when he teach (he thinks we are keeping quite but actually it is the awkward silence we gave), some of my friend will even open the book and sleep. When one of us see another sleeping, then we will send signals to one another and we will start giggling because he will say that he is very proud that his students "love" his class and no one sleeps- but only we know. Even he is  so thin and we will joke that he might fly with strong wind.

Once, during our sports practice, suddenly the wind started blowing so fast and Dr. Tan was in charge of the high jump section. Although my classmates are all different houses, we stick together. We will chat at the same..kind of "our meeting spot" after the practices. The funny part was we witnessed Dr. Tan's body was not able to withstand the wind and he fell onto the mattress. Hahaha...if you saw that i think you can never stop laughing.Dr.Tan will never be serious..he will always teach and come back talking about his Phd..Damn funny. LOL. Even we made fun of his hair...which is close too bald but yet he uses gel and always takes care of those few leftovers on his head. I still remember that whenever he asks any questions he will give eye contact with me because i will be the one who will make fun but yet the only one who answers to his questions in a stupid manner and then everyone of us will laugh. We enjoyed his classes because he was funny to us. His class is the only class we dare to eat because he never knew. He is just too dedicated in his civics.

During exams we usually have a heavy subject with civics, like Biology or Chemistry test. When we don't read his civics- well again come on civics only what! He gets angry when we read other subjects and not preparing for his civics test. He will ask us to keep our books and read civics. We only read civics 10 minutes before test and yet we still get scores above 85%..so we don't care.I am sure all of us can score for civics right. Oh ya.. he is always proud to call himself a Maxwellian- his school since primary to high school.. oh god the way he talks so proudly of being maxwellian-a small school with a lot of jerks... even he agrees to that. We were sad when one day they said he will be transferred to his own school he came from- Maxwell. To be honest he was kind of happy but sad too. We were sad but not because he is leaving but because we lost a "joker". We still miss the fun we had during his class. We did cry a bit though..we cry when anyone leaves the school, even if we don't know who that person is...( kind of weird, but we liked that weirdness )
